Miranda Clements is currently a student at the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in Tempe, Arizona. She is working on her Transformational Psychology degree with a specialization in Holistic Nutrition. Miranda is passionate about helping others reach optimal health and wellness through a holistic healing approach. She is mother of two young boys and especially enjoys working with families to teach children how to nourish themselves in mind, body and spirit.
Miranda began studying herbalism in 2008 which, for her, led naturally into the study of nutrition and food as medicine. She spent the next couple of years learning about various dietary styles, including Raw Vegan, Vegetarian, Traditional Nutrition, Superfoods, Gluten Free and Dairy Free, before enrolling at SWIHA in 2010. She has studied with herbalists Matthew Wood, Paul Bergner and Jim McDonald.
She believes that through a proper balance of nutrition, fitness and spiritual practice everyone can live healthier happier lives, free of chronic illness. Miranda believes that we are unique individuals and that balance is different for each person. That is a challenge she greatly enjoys when working with new clients. Currently she is offering nutrition and herbal medicine consultations, and will be offering hypnotherapy sessions in Fall of 2012.
